Our customer is a world-leading resources company extracting and processing minerals, oil and gas for sale worldwide.
Harrier Talent Solutions was engaged to support the ramp-up of resources for a new mining operation in regional Australia. Driven by ambitious corporate diversity targets, we were tasked with achieving 50% female hires and recruiting 13% of the workforce from local Aboriginal communities.
Key outcomes
We achieved 54% female hires and 23% from local Aboriginal communities, the first project of its kind in Australia to do so. We talent pooled over 500 qualified candidates, increased offer accept rates and maintained zero agency spend.
