Harrier CEO wins in two categories in 40under40 Awards

March 13, 2015: Harrier CEO Kelly Quirk has been named winner of the Professional Services and the City of Perth Strategic Alliance awards, in addition to being a finalist in the 40under40 award.

Now in its fourteenth year, the 40under40 Awards has an alumni of over 500 business achievers. Established by BusinessNews, the awards program is designed to recognise and celebrate Western Australia's 40 leading business entrepreneurs under the age of 40. The program recognises not only personal determination and commercial drive, but also the philanthropic pursuits that balance professional achievements.

The awards were presented at a gala event in Perth on 11 March and were attended by more than 800 business people and fellow nominees. The Professional Services award celebrates Harrier’s provision of outstanding service to its clients, and the Strategic Alliance award recognises the major partnerships Harrier has with clients such as Chevron and Coles. Harrier most recently won the contract to manage the recruitment of Coles’ 1,200 support centre positions as well as hundreds of leadership roles across the country.

Since taking the helm of Harrier Group, an emerging HR and talent management organisation in 2011, Ms Quirk has grown the business from 45 to 100 people and doubled revenues, making Harrier the third largest recruitment process outsourcing business in Australia. With her experience in global mergers, acquisitions and business transformation, Ms Quirk is recognised as a leading authority on cross-border resourcing and outsourcing solutions in emerging markets.

Commenting on her achievements, Ms Quirk said: “The awards are wonderful recognition of a true team effort. The Harrier team has worked extremely hard to grow the business and I’m incredibly proud of all we have achieved in such a short timeframe”.
